Hahahahhaa. I know exactly what you mean. I was in a friend's car a while back...he had a dvd/cd player thingie with an integrated ipod interface on it. So i hooked up my ipod to it and he was scrolling through my Artists list on the screen. One of the the singers I have on my ipod is named Cece Peniston. Well, if you didn't guess it already, the character limit on the interface was such that, the -ton in the singer's last name was cut off...LOL. My friend looked at me and said "Cece Pe***???!!! WTF??" LOL.... It took me a few minutes of laughing hysterically before I was able to compose myself enough to explain to him what her real last name was.

Posted November 17th, 2007 by ChrisI was checking the status of a package on Amazon.com and noticed something funny in their greeting. I've had this problem before with Caller ID, but it's difficult to record. New mothers and fathers, when naming your child please consider what a shortened version of their name might spell in display devices with a display that requires shortening longer words. Mine isn't so bad:
